Always Trust Your Gut

Always trust your gut. If it feels right for you, it is right for you.

Backstory: my last few months in Illinois I was out on a group trail run. A runner I'd just met said, "Colorado? Why would you want to move there? It's so played out." For a moment my joy diminished. Was this true? Was Colorado played out, and was I just another sucker falling for it? Fast forward nearly 7 years. Not only did I meet the love of my life shortly after arriving here, but we spend a good deal of our time enjoying outdoor adventures together. In fact, we work 4 days so that we can play for 3. So looking back, maybe this dude was right...I moved to a place where I get to play...outside. A lot. Seems like a win to me! Trust yourself and listen to your OWN voice...not anyone else's.
